Growing up next door to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum, I’ve always had a fascination with vintage aircraft - especially the Avro Lancaster.
As a kid I built hundreds of scale models, but slowed down significantly as adult life got busy...
But since winter started + Covid, I've begun this huge model Lancaster in 1/32 scale that I got for my Birthday.
With many aftermarket details being added including lighting, sound and motion, this will be my biggest model aircraft project yet!
I'm building it as a specific family members aircraft from 44 squadron (circa 1943)...
Well it's official and it's already just happened: Over the last 3 weeks I have moved my business Rightway Heritage Trimming into a brand new shop space!
